Why is it so hard to accept others who are different from us? Because we only see life through our own eyes. Many students entering college have been associating with the same people for 12 years. Upon entering college, most students are not prepared for the diversity in people they will experience. Having lived in Mexico for two and a half years, Billy knows what it’s like to adapt to and accept other cultures and people. Using hilarious examples from his own experiences, Billy teaches the concepts of empathy, respect, and acceptance of others. Through this program, students will learn that not accepting others will only prevent you from reaching your potential.

Our dreams inspire us!  Dreaming big and having a vision of what you want your life to be like is a key to success.  In this program, Billy will inspire all students to reach for the stars and explain the importance of staying motivated if you realize that your dream may not be realistic.  Sometimes our dreams are not attainable so we must find a new dream to help us move forward.
