Bullying in our schools causes students to be physically hurt, emotionally scarred, and ostracized. Bullying leads to a higher drop-out rate, lower grades, and a distrust in our educational system. Bullying costs our school districts millions of dollars in lawsuits, legal fees, and state aid. As a former bully and victim of bullying, Billy knows first-hand the harm that bullying can cause. As a former educator, Billy has witnessed bullying at every grade level. Billy uses his experiences and expertise to help schools eliminate bullying. Billy is a featured guest as a bully expert on a CBS affiliate news program in Corpus Christi, Texas.

If we don’t teach respect, responsibility, and empathy for others then we’re not really teaching. It is Billy’s belief that character building should be a focus of our educational system. Character building will help put a stop to bullying and will teach our students the important values of acceptance and respect for others. It is the responsibility of every parent and educator to model and teach these important values.

LEAVE ME ALONE! (Elementary)
45 - 55 min. Student Assembly
Talk about fun! This assembly is a blast for the kids! Billy’s ability to relate to each age group makes him the perfect speaker for your school’s student assembly. During this presentation, Billy talks about the harm that bullying causes and provides the students with many positive strategies that they can use to eliminate bullying from their lives and the school campus. Through audience participation and role playing, Billy will show the students exactly how to handle the bully.
FROM BULLY TO BULLIED (Junior High/Middle School)
45 - 55 min. Student Assembly
Your students will love this program! Billy will have them laughing out loud about a very serious topic and then have them completely silent while they reflect about the way they treat others. Using language the students can understand Billy will share with them his experience of bullying others and being bullied. In addition to talking about the negative effects that bullying can have on all students, Billy will talk about the role of the bystander. At this level, the bystander can be the most important person when it comes to putting a stop to bullying. Audience participation is a guarantee at every student program.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT CHOICES (High School)
45-55 min. Student Assembly
Students in high school are facing challenges and new experiences they have never dealt with. Every day these young adults make thousands of choices. Making the right ones can be the difference between success or failure, happiness or despair, and possibly life or death. In this presentation, Billy shares personal stories about some of the choices he has made and encourages his audience to CHOOSE THE RIGHT CHOICES.

This means that your children could be going through the worst experience of their lives and you don't even know about it. In this presentation Billy will explain the warning signs of bullying and teach the parents what they can do to help their child.
